In industrial, machinery and Equipment when they are using for a long time the various stains are usually to be appeared. The substances inside will be stick and create deep stains in the equipment that is not an easy task for cleaning. In the traditional way of cleaning method is omeone scrubs with a brass brush. Using the automatic brush set and even high pressure water jets are used to extract those stains. It is necessary to remove those parts and put them back again which takes a lot of people and time (Man-hours) to clean at one time.

• Ingredients in detergents or surfactants
• Solvent for distilling and separating substances to make them pure which we called "Liquid-liquid extraction".

This article focuses on cleaning work. Because it's used a lot and is really seen the most in the industry, such as cleaning work for Heat Exchangers, Boilers, Fired heaters, and other equipment where mechanical cleaning can't be done thoroughly. Cleaning the device brings its performance back close to the new one and make the factory save energy as well.

The principle of washing is we must know the type of dirt that we want to wash out. Select the most appropriate Solvent by choosing from the solubility properties of the solute (dirt). For example, an organic substances (Hydrocarbon fouling) must be used as organic solvents such as Toluene, Hexane, Benzene, etc. But if it is rust or sulfur stains, then choose a solvent that is acidic in order to wash away rusting scale or corrosion scale. The cleaning contractor's company will choose the solvent and evaluate the cleaning method to prevent damage from washing also.

Royal Mint starts turning e-waste into gold

The Royal Mint, maker of the UK's coins, has begun processing electronic waste to extract gold from it. The company has built a large industrial plant on its site in Llantrisant in Wales to remove the precious metal from old circuit boards. The gold is initially being used to craft jewellery and later it will be made into commemorative coins.

US EPA bans use of trichloroethylene and perchloroethylene

The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has banned two solvents known to cause a range of cancers: trichloroethylene (TCE) and perchloroethylene (PCE or Perc).

The solvents are used in a variety of products, including cleaners, degreasers, sealants, lubricants, adhesives, paints and commercial applications such as dry cleaning. Safer alternatives are already available for the majority of these uses, according to US-EPA press statement.
